Eduard 1/48 P-51B/C Mustang w/o dorsal fin & Birdcage canopy OVERTREES is a plastic kit of the American fighter. Sprues F, K, M, O, P, R and S only, no decals. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The P-51B entered combat over Europe around the turn of 1943 and 1944 and made fighter escort of USAAF bombers deep into Germany possible. The B and C versions were armed with four 12.7 mm (.50 cal) machine guns in the wings. This set represents aircraft without the dorsal fin, with the original framed “birdcage” canopy.
According to the label the box contains sprues F, K, M, O, P, R and S from parts set 82100, with no decals, instructions, photo-etch or masks. Together with the set with the dorsal fin (82104X), both configurations can be built side by side. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
