1/48 P-51B/C Mustang w/o dorsal fin & Malcom Hood canopy OVERTREES
Eduard 1/48 P-51B/C Mustang w/o dorsal fin & Malcom Hood canopy OVERTREES is a plastic kit of the American fighter. Sprues F, L, M, O, P, R and S only, no decals. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The key to the P-51B and P-51C was the Packard V-1650, a licence-built Merlin with a two-stage supercharger that kept the Mustang competitive at high altitude. Many aircraft were later fitted with the British-designed bulged Malcolm hood for a better view. The sprues match the version without the dorsal fin.
The contents are exclusively plastic sprues F, L, M, O, P, R and S from parts set 82100, as the manufacturer's label states; decals, instructions, photo-etch and masks are missing. The combination without dorsal fin and with the bulged Malcolm Hood completes a series of four P-51B/C OVERTREES in 1/48. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
Nationality: USA. Period: World War II.
