The belt-free version shows the full surface of the back cushion with its stitching and buttons, and the smooth seat pan. The rivet-lined frame, the tubular strut and the side stiffeners are printed together with the cushion as one part. The seat can be fitted with belts from another set; ASK offers the version with the harness on the part as 200-A48093.

Merlin-powered P-51Bs escorted American bombers over Europe from the turn of 1943 and 1944. The framed canopy and high rear fuselage distinguish this version from the later P-51D. The seat is intended for the Eduard 1/48 P-51B kits.
