1/48 P-51D-5 Mustang OVERTREES
Eduard 1/48 P-51D-5 Mustang OVERTREES is a plastic kit of the American fighter. Sprues A, B, C, F, G and H only, no decals or instructions. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The P-51D introduced a cut-down rear fuselage with a bubble canopy that gave the pilot all-round vision, and armament increased to six 12.7 mm machine guns. The P-51D-5 was one of the early production blocks of the D version and from 1944 served mainly with fighter groups escorting bombers over Europe.
The label lists sprues A, B, C, F, G and H from parts set 82100. There is nothing else in the box – no decals, instructions, photo-etch or masks – making it an affordable basis for an early-block D-5 Mustang in markings of your choice. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
