1/48 PBJ-1J Mitchell double-sided express fit mask for HK Models
ASK mask in 1/48 scale for the PBJ-1J Mitchell from HK Models, made in a double-sided Express Fit version. Besides the outer glazing masks, it includes an INTERIOR section for the inner side of the glazing.
ASK designs the masks specifically for the parts of the HK Models PBJ-1J Mitchell kit in 1/48 scale. Set ASK 200-M48303 from the SCALE MASK range comprises several sheets. The outer masks for the individual panes are joined by a sheet with an INTERIOR section, carrying masks numbered from 101 (up to 166 in the photo) for the inner side of the glazing, so the frames stay clean when looking into the glazed nose and cockpit.
The US Marine Corps took over the B-25 as the PBJ-1; the large batches of B-25H and B-25J became the PBJ-1H and PBJ-1J. The first unit, from 1 March 1943, was squadron VMB-413. The one-sided version of the set is 200-M48302.
