1/48 RP3 60Lb (Late Type) Air to Ground Rockets
Vespa Model 1/48 RP3 60lb (Late Type) is a set of detailed air-to-ground rockets with two-storey launcher and shortened stabilizing surfaces. The accessories are designed for the 1/48 scale Hawker Hunter model and offer a high level of detail thanks to 3D printing.
The RP3 60lb was a British unguided rocket used during World War II and in the post-war period as an effective weapon against ground targets. Later variants with improved design and stabilising surfaces found use in the Cold War, for example in jet aircraft such as the Hawker Hunter. These missiles proved successful in attacks on armoured vehicles, railway lines and fortifications and became one of the signature weapons of the British Air Force.
The 1/48 scale kit from Vespa Model brings a late RP3 60lb version with a two-storey launcher and shortened stabilising surfaces, specifically designed for Hawker Hunter models. Thanks to modern 3D printing technology, a high level of detail and realistic processing is guaranteed.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
