ASK 1/48 SJU-17: a pair of 3D-printed ejection seats with seat belts for the F-14D Super Tomcat. Recommended for the 1/48 Tamiya plastic kit.
This 1/48 ASK set contains two SJU-17 seats for the pilot and radar intercept officer. Belts with buckles and fittings are printed on the mesh-textured cushions and run over the parachute headbox; the tall rear frame carries catapult tubes, bottles and lines. On a finished model with an open cockpit the seats therefore look complete without further accessories.
The F-14D Super Tomcat, the final development of the US Navy's Grumman F-14, switched from the older GRU-7A to Martin-Baker NACES SJU-17 seats. ASK recommends the set for the 1/48 Tamiya F-14D kit.
