ASK 1/48 SJU-4: a 3D-printed ejection seat with seat belts for the AV-8B Harrier II Plus. One piece, recommended for the new 1/48 UMa plastic kit.
According to its instruction label, this 1/48 ASK seat consists of three parts: the seat body, a small additional part and a box mounted beside the headrest. The cushions have a pronounced mesh texture with the belts and buckles printed directly on them; the rear frame carries the catapult tubes and hose routing.
SJU-4/A is the naval designation of the Stencel S-III-S ejection seat used in the AV-8B Harrier II. The radar-equipped Harrier II Plus served with the US Marine Corps and other operators. ASK recommends the seat for the 1/48 UMa AV-8B Harrier II Plus kit released in 2025.
