1/48 Spitfire Mk.I late OVERTREES
Eduard 1/48 Spitfire Mk.I late OVERTREES is a plastic kit of the British fighter. Sprues A, C, E, J, P, R and U only, no decals or instructions. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The Spitfire Mk.I was the first production version of the famous Supermarine fighter; it entered RAF service in 1938 with a Merlin engine and eight .303 in Browning machine guns in the wings. Together with the Hurricane it carried the main burden of the Battle of Britain in the summer and autumn of 1940.
According to the label, the box contains sprues A, C, E, J, P, R and U from parts set 82160. Nothing else is supplied – no decals, instructions, photo-etch or masks – so the markings for the Spitfire Mk.I are entirely the modeller's choice. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
