Eduard 1/48 Spitfire Mk.Vb mid OVERTREES is a plastic kit of the British fighter. Sprues A, C, L+M, P, R and S only, no decals or instructions. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The Spitfire Mk.Vb was the main production version of the Mk.V – 3,911 were built – and in 1941 and 1942 formed the backbone of RAF fighter squadrons operating over the Channel and occupied France. The B-type wing with two 20 mm cannons and four machine guns gave it heavier armament than the eight-gun A-type wing.
The box label lists sprues A, C, L+M, P, R and S from parts set 82160. Decals, instructions, photo-etch and masks are not supplied, so decals for the Spitfire Mk.Vb have to be sourced separately. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
