The set is ASK's own design, engineered for one specific kit – the Eduard Spitfire Mk.VIII in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48140 from the SCALE MASK range is divided into an EXTERIOR section for the outer side and an INTERIOR section for the inner side of the glazing; the masks are numbered up to 28. They comprise shaped windscreen masks, narrow curved strips following the canopy frames, rectangular masks and small circular masks. No wheel masks are included. The one-sided version is 200-M48141.

The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII had a two-stage supercharged Merlin 60-series engine and a retractable tailwheel. It served mainly in the Mediterranean, in South-East Asia and with the Royal Australian Air Force. The masks are intended for the Eduard kit in 1/48 scale.
