1/48 Su-35 Flanker-E double-sided express fit mask for Kitty Hawk
ASK masks for the Kitty Hawk Su-35 Flanker-E in 1/48 come as a double-sided Express Fit set. Outline masks cover the cockpit glazing inside and out, and ring-shaped masks complete the set.
The set is ASK's own design, with mask shapes following the parts of the Kitty Hawk Su-35 Flanker-E kit in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48242 from the SCALE MASK range carries outline strips with lower numbers and the strip group 16–24 (one set for the outer, the other for the inner side of the frames), small masks 10–13 and ring-shaped masks numbered 14 and 15. The one-sided version is 200-M48241.
The Su-35 designation was first applied to the renamed Su-27M with canards and a multifunction radar, of which fourteen test and demonstration aircraft were built. Today's Su-35, first flown in 2008, uses technology from the PAK FA (Su-57) programme; besides the Russian Air Force, China has also ordered it. The masks are designed for the Kitty Hawk plastic kit in 1/48 scale.
