1/48 Sukhoi Su-17/22 wheel set
Vespa Model Kits VMKA48001 is a resin wheel set for the Sukhoi Su-7, Su-17 and Su-22 in 1/48 scale. It contains the main wheels and nose wheel with finely shaped hubs and tyres.
The VMKA48001 set from Vespa Model Kits replaces the plastic wheels of 1/48 kits of the Sukhoi Su-7/17/22 family. The wheels are cast in grey resin and offer finer detail on the hubs and tyre tread than injection-moulded parts usually do.
The Su-7 and the swing-wing Su-17 and Su-22 derived from it served as fighter-bombers with Warsaw Pact air forces and with many other air forces, including Czechoslovakia. The prominent undercarriage with large wheels for operations from rough strips is clearly visible on a model, so improved wheels have a big effect on the overall look.
