1/48 TBD-1 Devastator

Hobby Boss 1/48 TBD-1 Devastator is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The TBD-1 torpedo bomber has three crew positions beneath a long glazed canopy. Decals offer prewar 6-T-2 with yellow wings, red cowling and blue tail, or a wartime blue-grey aircraft numbered 5.

The cockpit includes seat frames and instrument panels, accompanied by a radial engine and rear gun-position parts with a machine gun. A photo-etched fret supplies harnesses and small fittings. Separate outer wing sections and joint parts allow assembly in folded or extended positions. A torpedo or bomb armament can be selected beneath the fuselage. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
