1/48 Tempest Mk.V OVERTREES
Eduard 1/48 Tempest Mk.V OVERTREES is a plastic kit of the British fighter. Sprues A, B, C, D, E, F and G only, no decals or instructions. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The Hawker Tempest V was developed from the Typhoon with a new, thinner wing of near-elliptical planform and served with RAF operational squadrons from spring 1944. It was powered by the 24-cylinder Napier Sabre; against the V-1, Tempest squadrons shot down 638 of the 1,846 flying bombs destroyed by RAF aircraft.
The label lists sprues A, B, C, D, E, F and G from parts set 82120 – one sprue (G) more than the Tempest Mk.V series 1 set (82121X). Decals, instructions, photo-etch and masks are not included. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
