1/48 Tempest Mk.V series 1 OVERTREES
Eduard 1/48 Tempest Mk.V series 1 OVERTREES is a plastic kit of the British fighter. Sprues A, B, C, D, E and F only, no decals or instructions. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The first hundred Tempest Vs, known as Series 1, carried four long-barrelled 20 mm Hispano Mk.II cannons whose barrels projected ahead of the wing leading edge. On the following Series 2 they were replaced by shorter Hispano Mk.V cannons ending roughly flush with the leading edge. The Tempest V was powered by the Napier Sabre II.
According to the label the box holds sprues A, B, C, D, E and F from parts set 82120; decals, instructions, photo-etch and masks are absent. The set is intended for the early Series 1 aircraft with long cannon barrels, distinguishable at first glance from later production. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
