1/48 TF-104G Starfighter one-sided express fit mask for Kinetic
ASK mask in a one-sided Express Fit version, made for the Kinetic two-seat TF-104G Starfighter in 1/48 scale. It covers the tandem cockpit glazing from the outside, and the sheet also has ring-shaped masks.
The set was created as ASK's own design, made directly for the clear parts of the Kinetic TF-104G Starfighter kit in 1/48 scale. The sheet of set 200-M48286 from the SCALE MASK range carries large shaped masks 8, 9, 15 and 16, curved outline strips, narrow mask 17, small masks 18 and 19, two long strips 20 and six ring-shaped masks – four larger (21) and two smaller (22).
The TF-104G was the two-seat trainer version of the F-104G, with a second seat behind the pilot. Lockheed built a total of 191 two-seat trainers for Europe and Canada. A training wing with TF-104Gs and F-104Gs was based at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, until 1983. The double-sided version of the set is 200-M48287.
