Vespa Model Kits VMKC48002 Sukhoi Su-17/22 Tumansky R-29-300 Rear Fuselage Conversion Set 1/48 is a conversion set for Kitty Hawk/Zimi Models Su-17/22 Fitter kits in 1/48 scale. It includes a new rear fuselage with extended dorsal spine, a detailed combustion chamber with afterburner and cover, elevators, and separate tail surfaces for Fitter F, E, G, and J variants.
Vespa Model Kits VMKC48002 converts the 1/48 Su-17/22 Fitter kit to the Tumansky R-29-300-powered version. It is designed for the Kitty Hawk/Zimi Models Su-17/22 Fitter range and combines 3D-designed parts, resin castings, and 3D-printed components.
The set includes a new rear fuselage with extended dorsal spine, a detailed combustion chamber with afterburner and cover, elevators, and separate tail surfaces for Fitter F, E, G, and J variants. It also contains an Israeli RWR and chaff dispenser for the Peruvian Fitter J after 1995, plus a domestic chaff dispenser for the Syrian Fitter J. With modifications, the set can also be used with Hobby Boss and KP kits.
