1/48 Wright R-1820 engine set, 4 pc. for B-17 for Hong Kong Model
ASK 200-A48026 contains four 3D-printed Wright R-1820 Cyclone radial engines for the B-17 in 1/48 scale. They are designed for the HK Models B-17 kits, also offered by Eduard.
The ASK set in 1/48 scale provides a complete set of four engines for the B-17 bomber. Each engine has finned cylinders, the reduction gear housing, an ignition harness routed to the individual cylinders, pushrods and further piping – details that show well with the cowlings open or through the ring cowls. The engines are designed for the HK Models B-17 kit, which Eduard offers as well.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was powered by four nine-cylinder Wright R-1820 Cyclone radial engines with turbo-superchargers. The four-engine Flying Fortress was one of the principal aircraft of the American daylight strategic bombing offensive over Europe in the Second World War.
