ASK 1/48 Wright R-2600 Cyclone 14 is a 3D-printed model of the fourteen-cylinder two-row radial aero engine. One piece with ignition harness and reduction gear housing for models of aircraft powered by it.
The 1/48 ASK engine is printed as a single part. Two rows of finned cylinders are joined by an ignition harness routed to each cylinder head, the bolted reduction gear housing, the propeller shaft flange and small accessories at the front. It shows best where the engine is seen through an open cowling ring or displayed on its own stand.
The Wright R-2600 Cyclone 14, also called the Twin Cyclone, is an air-cooled two-row radial with fourteen cylinders and a displacement of 2,604 cu in (42.7 l), developed from 1935. It powered, among others, the North American B-25 Mitchell and Douglas A-20 Havoc bombers, the Grumman TBF Avenger torpedo bomber, the Curtiss SB2C Helldiver dive bomber and the Martin PBM Mariner flying boat.
