1/48 Yak-130 "Mitten" double-sided painting mask for Zvezda
ASK masks for the Zvezda Yakovlev Yak-130 "Mitten" plastic kit in 1/48 scale are double-sided. They mask the glazing of both cockpits inside and out, plus several smaller clear parts.
ASK handled the mask design itself, expressly for the 1/48 Zvezda Yak-130 kit. Sheet ASK 200-M48031 from the SCALE MASK range (DOUBLE-SIDED) carries masks 1–6 for the outer side of the canopies and windscreen and, in the INTERIOR section, masks 7–12 with frame strips for the inner side. The lower part of the sheet holds a group of smaller masks for further transparencies.
The Yak-130 (NATO reporting name Mitten) is a subsonic two-seat advanced jet trainer and light combat aircraft. Development began in 1991 together with Italy's Aermacchi, the first flight took place in April 1996, and it has served with the Russian Air Force since 2010. The masks are shaped for the Zvezda kit in 1/48 scale.
