1/48 Yak-9D one-sided express mask, self-adhesive, pre-cutted for Zvezda
ASK masks from the Express range for the Zvezda Yak-9D plastic kit in 1/48 scale are one-sided and self-adhesive. Masks 1–9 cover the outside of the cockpit glazing, the CLEAR PARTS section further transparent parts.
As its own design, ASK developed these masks specifically for the glazing of the 1/48 Zvezda Yak-9D kit. One-sided set ASK 200-M48100 from the SCALE MASK range consists of one sheet with masks 1–9 for the outer side of the cockpit panes and a CLEAR PARTS section whose masks carry the numbers of the Zvezda kit clear parts (D2, D3, D5, D8). No wheel masks are included. The double-sided version is 200-M48101.
The Soviet Yak-9 fighter was produced from 1942 to 1948, with 16,769 built. The Yak-9D version had increased fuel capacity in the wing for longer range. The masks are designed for the Zvezda plastic kit in 1/48 scale.
