Hobby Boss 1/700 USS Gato SS-212 1941 is a plastic kit of a submarine for assembly. The model depicts USS Gato in the early configuration that the manufacturer identifies with 31 December 1941 after launching. That date matters when choosing a model by its sail and deck-armament configuration.
The manufacturer specifies 12 plastic parts on four sprues and a one-piece upper hull. The supplied display stand has a printed nameplate. The low part count limits the assembly workload, although the small submarine fittings remain delicate at 1/700. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: USA. Period: World War II.
