Hobby Boss 1/700 USS Jimmy Carter SSN-23 is a plastic kit of a submarine for assembly. USS Jimmy Carter is the lengthened member of the Seawolf class. An inserted Multi-Mission Platform section extends the real submarine by approximately 30 metres, giving it different proportions from the other boats in the class. It is a modern US Navy nuclear-powered attack submarine.
The kit represents the entire hull, including its underwater portion. A labelled display stand supports the model, while decals provide number 23 and hatch markings. In 1/700 scale the finished submarine is approximately 196.8 mm long and 16.9 mm wide. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: USA. Period: modern era.
