The AN/APS-4 band-selective search radar could be used to detect both surface and airborne targets. It was mounted in an aerodynamic fairing under the wings of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps fighter aircraft designed for night interception, such as the the F6F-3E/-5E Hellcat, or for night attacks on ships by the SB2C-4E/-5E, TBF-3E, and TBF-3S. The set was designed using 3D modeling, and the master was produced using 3D printing. CATEGORY: USA / WWII
This is an add-on set; plastic kit, paint, and glue are not included unless specifically stated by the manufacturer.
Recommended Use
- Before assembly, degrease and clean the part, and perform a dry fit
- Use an adhesive suitable for resin
- We recommend applying a primer before painting
- Model paints, brushes, or an airbrush are suitable for finishing
