1/72 B-25J Mitchell Glazed Nose
Hobby 2000 72092 B-25J Mitchell Glazed Nose 1/72 is a plastic kit of the American medium bomber. Glazed-nose version with decals for three aircraft from the Mediterranean theatre. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
The North American B-25J Mitchell was the most numerous version of the twin-engined B-25 medium bomber. It was built both with a glazed bombardier’s nose and with a solid nose fitted with machine guns, and served in Europe, the Mediterranean and the Pacific.
The Hobby 2000 kit in 1/72 scale depicts the glazed-nose version. According to the manufacturer’s painting guide it includes decals for three aircraft: B-25J-2-NC 43-4080 of the 489th BS/340th BG (Corsica, September 1944), B-25J-11-NC 43-36227 of the 445th BS/321st BG and B-25J-2-NC 43-27751 of the 447th BS/321st BG (both Falconara, Italy, spring 1945).
In 1/72 scale the twin-engined bomber stays a size that suits a display cabinet as well as a larger collection of Second World War aircraft.
Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
