1/72 Chinese PLB625 AA Gun & Missile Integrated Weapon System
Meng 72-018 Chinese PLB625 AA Gun & Missile Integrated Weapon System 1/72 is a plastic kit of the Chinese wheeled air defence system combining a gun and missiles. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
The PLB625 is a Chinese highly mobile short-range air defence system on an 8×8 wheeled armoured chassis. It combines a six-barrel 25 mm rotary cannon with four short-range air defence missiles, search and fire-control radars and an electro-optical system, and it was shown publicly at the Beijing military parade in September 2025.
According to the manufacturer the kit is Meng's first wheeled armoured vehicle in 1/72 scale. Windows and vision ports are clear parts, the tyres are soft vinyl and both the cannon and the missiles elevate. The radar can be fitted raised and rotating or stowed for travel, and the decals cover three marking options. The finished model measures about 96 × 47 × 62 mm with the radar raised.
In 1/72 scale the model stays compact and rounds out a collection of current Chinese equipment, for example next to Meng's ZTZ99 or ZTZ100 tanks.
