1/72 F-86A

The North American F-86A Sabre was the first mass-produced United States jet fighter equipped with an arrow wing. It entered service in the late 1940s and was most famous in Korean War combat, where it clashed with Soviet MiG-15s in some of the first jet dogfights in history. The F-86A variant was the basic production version that quickly became the backbone of the USAF fighter force and demonstrated tremendous advances in aircraft technology.
