1/72 Fairey Barracuda Mk.II 'Pacific Fleet'

The Fairey Barracuda Mk.II was a three-seat deck torpedo and dive bomber of the British Navy that entered service in 1943. It replaced the obsolete Swordfish and Albacore types and became the first British deck bomber with all-metal construction and retractable landing gear.

The Mk.II version was the most widely used variant - powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin 32 engine, with more powerful armament and ASV radar for anti-submarine operations. The Barracudas operated primarily from Royal Navy carriers and took part in a number of naval operations, including attacks on the German battleship Tirpitz and later fighting in the Pacific.
