1/72 Fist of War German Ausf. Vierfüßler "Nachteule"
Modelcollect 1/72 German Ausf. Vierfüßler "Nachteule" is a 1/72 scale plastic kit of a fictitious combat vehicle. This four-legged walker is based on the chassis of the E-50 project and instead of the classic turret it carries a huge searchlight, which gave it the name "Night Owl".
Modelcollect's Fist of War series brings unique what-if designs to the world of model building, combining realistic elements of German WWII technology with purely fictional sci-fi concepts. Ausf. Vierfüßler "Nachteule" is based on the ideas of a possible use of the versatile E-50 chassis, but this time in the form of a four-legged mechanical chassis.
Instead of a gun turret, this machine is equipped with a giant searchlight, which was hypothetically intended to be used for searching for targets at night, blinding the enemy or defending against air attacks. The whole concept is purely fanciful and never existed even in designs, yet it offers an attractive subject for modelers who like unconventional and original projects.
The 1/72nd scale Modelcollect kit includes detailed parts of the leg landing gear, hull and large reflector. This is an interesting model for fans of sci-fi, alternate history and dioramas with Fist of War themes.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
