1/72 Germany WWII V1 Missile Launching Position Model Collect
Brand: Modelcollect

The V-1 missiles, also known as "Vergeltungswaffe 1" or flying bombs, were Germany's first mass-deployed guided missile in World War II. Their main targets were the British Isles, especially London, and later Antwerp. Special ramps were used to launch these missiles, which used a steam catapult powered by hydrogen peroxide and potassium permanganate.

The launching position consisted of a long rail along which the missile was accelerated to the required launch speed. These ramps were built in France, the Netherlands and other occupied areas, and their detection and destruction became a priority for the Allied bomber force.

Modelcollect's 1/72nd scale kit allows you to build a realistic replica of the V-1 launch position, including a detailed ramp and additional features. This model is an ideal complement for WWII era dioramas and represents an important chapter in the history of missile weapons.

The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
