1/72 Gloster Gladiator Mk.I/Mk.II
Airfix Gloster Gladiator Mk.I/Mk.II 1:72 is a plastic kit of the last biplane fighter to serve with the RAF. Inside are 51 plastic parts, instructions, a paint guide and decals for two specific aircraft: a Norwegian Mk.I flown by Lieutenant Dag Krohn at Fornebu, Oslo, in April 1940, or a British Mk.II of No.1401 (Met.) Flight, RAF Coastal Command, Bircham Newton, Norfolk, in July 1942. The completed model measures 118 × 137 × 50 mm.

The Gloster Gladiator was the last biplane fighter in Royal Air Force service. It first flew in September 1934 and entered RAF service in February 1937. By the end of the 1930s it had been overtaken by newer monoplanes, yet it still saw combat in the opening phase of the Second World War and also served with several foreign air arms.
