ASK 1/72 Goryunov SG-43 machine gun – a 3D-printed Soviet medium machine gun on a wheeled carriage with shield. The set contains the gun, carriage, two wheels and shield.
This 1/72 ASK set consists of five parts: the SG-43 gun, the carriage with its long trail, two spoked wheels and the protective shield. The gun shows the barrel with carrying handle, the receiver and the sights; the shield is thin and includes the barrel opening.
The Goryunov-system SG-43 was adopted by the Red Army in 1943 to replace the older Maxim M1910. Like its predecessor, it was hauled across the battlefield by its crew on the wheeled, shielded carriage. The accessory suits Soviet infantry figures and Eastern Front dioramas.
