Hobby Boss 1/72 TBF-1C Avenger is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. This carrier-based TBF-1C torpedo bomber comes with two naval marking options: White 97 of VT-2 aboard USS Hornet CV-12 in summer 1944 and C-5 of VC-30 aboard USS Monterey in 1943.
The more than 150 parts include cockpit fittings with separate seats, the radial engine front and the bomb bay. Clear parts form the long canopy and rear gun turret. A torpedo, two bomb types and auxiliary tanks provide load options; photo-etched parts add bomb-bay fittings and smaller details. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
