The Heinkel He 119 was an experimental German high-speed aircraft with an unusual powerplant: two coupled DB 601 units formed the fuselage-mounted DB 606 and drove the propeller through a long shaft passing through the cockpit. The project was conceived as a fast unarmed reconnaissance bomber.
The He 119A boxing represents aircraft EN+RC at the Rechlin test centre in July 1939.
