AZ Model 1/72 Heinkel He 162C "Salamander" offers modelers the opportunity to build a detailed plastic model of the German jet fighter aircraft, which was built at the end of World War II. The Heinkel He 162, also known as the "Salamander" or "Volksjäger", was one of the fastest developing aircraft of its time and represented the Luftwaffe's quest for a modern jet fighter in the final months of the conflict.
The kit includes plastic parts from new 1/72 scale molds. Included are parts to build the kit, three variations of the camouflage scheme and decals. The model is suitable for both display and dioramas focusing on the end of WWII. Thanks to the 1/72 scale, it is also suitable for collectors of smaller models.
