1/72 Junkers Ju-87 D-1 North Africa
Hobby 2000 1/72 Junkers Ju 87 D-1 North Africa presents the famous German WWII dive bomber in the livery used during the North Africa campaign. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Junkers Ju 87, known as the Stuka, was an iconic German dive bomber and a symbol of the Blitzkrieg. The D-1 version was an upgraded variant with a more powerful Jumo 211J engine, better aerodynamics and armour, allowing for deployment in more challenging conditions.
During the North African campaign, the Ju 87 D-1 was used by the Luftwaffe to carry out precision attacks on British and Allied positions, supply columns and tank units. Its accuracy and destructive power meant that it still had a place on the battlefield, despite its increasing vulnerability to more modern fighters.
The 1/72nd scale kit features Hasegawa-origin parts, high quality decals by Cartograf and accurately depicts the details of the variant deployed in the North African battlefield. A great choice for those interested in WWII aviation technology.
The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
