KPM 1/72 Flight L-23 "Super Blaník" Over Europe is a model of the modernized version of the legendary Czechoslovak two-seater glider, which followed the world famous L-13 Blaník. The L-23, with its modified design, new cabin and proven flight characteristics, has served in aero clubs throughout Europe. The L-23 "Super Blaník" was developed as a developmental upgrade of one of the most successful training gliders in the world - the L-13 Blaník. The new variant brought an extended cabin with a tandem layout, improved ergonomics, a modified tail section and several design changes that increased overall strength and flight characteristics. Thanks to its ease of piloting, good stability and rugged construction, the L-23 quickly spread to aeroclubs across Europe, where it was used for basic training, cross-country and sport flying. The machine has maintained its reputation as a reliable and safe glider suitable even for novice pilots.
