Kovozávody Prostějov 1/72 Letov Š-239 is a plastic kit of a lightweight sport upper stage aircraft from interwar Czechoslovakia. Letov Š-239 was a follow-up to the successful Š-39 type and was equipped with a more powerful British Pobjoy engine, which brought better flight characteristics and reliability. Thanks to the upper-plane concept, the machine had an excellent view from the cockpit and was suitable for less experienced pilots in aero clubs. The aircraft became a symbol of the development of sport aviation in the then Czechoslovakia and was used for recreational flying and training.
The 1/72 scale kit offers a detailed rendering including the specific Pobjoy engine cowling and fine strut details. A 3D printed power unit and decals for three different camouflage variants are included. The model is suitable for both display and diorama use, and the smaller size makes it well suited for modelers with limited space.
The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
Nationality: Czechia / Czechoslovakia. Period: Interwar period.
