The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa (Allied code: Oscar) was the main fighter aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. Its extreme maneuverability and lightweight design made it a formidable adversary in aerial combat in China, the Philippines, and Burma.
The Ki-43-II version had a reinforced design, a more powerful engine and better pilot protection. After the war, captured machines were used in several countries, including China, Thailand, Indonesia and France. These aircraft served in various conflicts after World War II, such as the Indochina War.
The Arma Hobby 1/72 Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa Foreign Services kit features precision crafted plastic parts, a realistic cockpit with instrument panel detail, and decals for several versions in the colors of the various user countries.
The high level of detail and the ability to build less common variants of this aircraft make this model ideal for modelers interested in Asian air forces and post-war military operations.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
