1/72 P-51D Mustang one-sided painting mask for Airfix
ASK masks for the P-51D Mustang in 1/72 scale, a one-sided self-adhesive set designed for the Airfix plastic kit. Pre-cut masks 1–8 cover the canopy glazing, and the WHEELS section provides six wheel masks.
The mask shapes come from ASK's own design work, matched to the parts of the Airfix P-51D Mustang kit in 1/72 scale. The North American P-51D Mustang was the definitive version of the American fighter: it used the licence-built Packard V-1650-7 (Merlin), introduced the bubble canopy and carried six 12.7 mm machine guns. From mid-1944 it escorted Eighth Air Force bombers over Germany.
Sheet ASK 200-M72029 from the SCALE MASK range carries numbered masks 1–8 – the shaped arch 5, strips 4 and 6, panels 1–3 and small circular masks 7 and 8. The WHEELS section consists of wheel masks A6, A7 and A28, two of each. The set is designed for the Airfix plastic kit in 1/72 scale.
