1/72 Potez 25 Salmson 18 CMb
The FRROM Potez 25 Salmson 18 CMb in 1/72 scale is a French multipurpose biplane from the interwar period, this time with the Salmson 18 CMb radial engine. These machines served mainly with the French Air Force and were also deployed in colonial areas. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Potez 25 was one of the most widely used French aircraft of the interwar era. It first flew in 1925 and remained in service for most of the 1930s. This multi-purpose biplane was produced in hundreds of units and served in more than twenty countries. A version powered by the Salmson 18 CMb radial engine was one of the first production variants and was mainly used for reconnaissance, light bombing and training. Aircraft with this engine also operated in overseas colonies such as North Africa.
The 1/72 scale FRROM plastic kit offers the opportunity to build a detailed model of this early variant of the Potez 25. Includes finely executed interior, engine, armament and other bits and pieces, including etched parts. The kit includes decals for three different machines, including examples deployed in colonial service, and clear instructions including kits. The kit is suitable for the more experienced modeller looking for a combination of technical and historical interest.
The package does not include the paints or glues needed for assembly.
