1/72 Spitfire Mk.IXc late version OVERTREES
Eduard 1/72 Spitfire Mk.IXc late version OVERTREES is a plastic kit of the late British Mk.IXc fighter. This edition offers plastic sprues only, with no decals. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX was originally meant as a stopgap, yet 5,656 were eventually built. It flew over Western Europe, in the Mediterranean and with many Allied air forces. Late Mk.IXc aircraft carried the universal ‘c’ wing and fought in 1943–1945.
OVERTREES is Eduard’s economy edition: the box contains only the plastic sprues of the given kit, with no decals, instructions, photo-etch or masks. The edition is sold for a limited time only. It is useful for modellers with their own decal sheet and for anyone who needs another airframe for a conversion.
In 1/72 scale the finished model takes little room in a display cabinet and sits well alongside other RAF types. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
Nationality: United Kingdom. Period: World War II.
