1/72 Spitfire Mk.Vb mid OVERTREES
Eduard 1/72 Spitfire Mk.Vb mid OVERTREES is a plastic kit of the mid-production British Mk.Vb fighter. Plastic sprues only, with no decals or instructions. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The Spitfire Mk.Vb, powered by the Merlin 45 and armed with two 20 mm cannon and four machine guns, was built in large numbers and served with the RAF over France, Malta and North Africa. According to Eduard, mid-production aircraft kept the external armour glass in front of the windscreen but had asymmetrical bulges under the wings – which sets them apart from the early version.
The OVERTREES box contains only the plastic sprues of the Eduard kit; decals, instructions, photo-etch and masks are not included. Eduard offers the edition at a lower price and for a limited time only. It suits modellers who source markings elsewhere or build several Spitfires at once.
The 1/72 scale makes it possible to assemble a complete line of Mk.Vb versions in a small space. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
