1/72 STARTER KIT Alouette III Sécurité Civile - Heller
Heller 1/72 Alouette III Sécurité Civile Starter Kit is a plastic kit of the SA 316B helicopter of the French civil security service. It has 72 parts and two marking options, and includes cement, a brush and paints.
France's civil security service (Sécurité Civile) took delivery of its first Alouette III, SA 3160 No. 1036 (F-ZBAL), from Sud Aviation on 14 June 1962. The Alouette III first flew on 28 February 1959. Its manoeuvrability, which allowed visual night flights, made it the ideal helicopter of its day for surveillance and rescue work.
Heller kit 56289 depicts the Aérospatiale SA 316B version and contains 72 parts and two marking options. The finished model measures 178 × 161 mm. A civil rescue subject makes a welcome change for modellers looking for something other than military hardware.
The Starter Kit also contains cement, a brush and main paints alongside the plastic kit.
Nationality: France. Period: Present day.
