1/72 UTI MiG-15 OVERTREES
Eduard 1/72 UTI MiG-15 OVERTREES is a plastic kit of the two-seat MiG-15UTI jet trainer. It contains plastic sprues only, without decals or instructions. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The MiG-15UTI is the two-seat training version of the Soviet MiG-15 jet fighter. A second cockpit for the instructor was added behind the pilot, and the type was used by the air forces of many countries. Besides the USSR, it was licence-built in Czechoslovakia as the CS-102, and some air forces flew it for decades.
The OVERTREES edition contains only the plastic sprues of the Eduard kit – decals and instructions are not included, nor are photo-etch and masks. Eduard releases these cheaper editions occasionally and for a limited time. The edition suits modellers who want to build the MiG-15UTI in Czechoslovak, Polish or other markings from their own decal sheet.
In 1/72 scale the UTI MiG-15 is a compact model that complements a collection of Cold War jets well. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
