Academy 12370 F-14D Tomcat VF-2 is a 1:48 plastic model kit. It depicts the D-version naval fighter in VF-2 Bounty Hunters markings. Both wings and air intakes offer three assembly positions, allowing you to choose the aircraft configuration during construction.
A detailed cockpit and landing gear are complemented by open or closed canopy options, an optional extended refuelling probe and boarding ladder. Included armament comprises AIM-7 Sparrow, AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-54 Phoenix missiles. The access details are particularly useful for displaying a parked aircraft with its cockpit open.
Assembly, cement and painting are required; paint and cement are purchased separately.
