AK Acrylics 3GEN AFV Series RAL 6003 Olivgrün Opt.2 (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11310 RAL 6003 Olivgrün Opt.2 is the second olive green variant in the 3GEN AFV Series acrylics (18 ml). It captures the different appearance of this colour on German vehicles of 1943–1945.
AK Interactive offers this second variant of RAL 6003 Olivgrün in the AFV Series of its third-generation acrylics. The manufacturer explains that from spring 1943 Olivgrün and RAL 8017 Rotbraun were supplied to the troops as emulsion paints, applied in varying concentrations, so the resulting tone varied. The bottle holds 18 ml for brush and airbrush.
Together with Opt.1, Opt.2 is included in the AK11656 1937-44 Panzer Colors set. In the limited AK11774 WWII Japanese Army AFV Colors set AK uses it as IJA Grass Green, which according to the manufacturer appeared in Imperial Japanese Army camouflage from 1942 alongside IJA Dry Grass and IJA Earth Brown.
