AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Grey-blue 1920s-1930s (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11907 Grey-Blue 1920s-1930s is a 3GEN Aircraft Series acrylic (18 ml). Until 1937 this grey-blue covered the undersides of Soviet aircraft, and it was also worn by machines supplied to the Spanish Republicans.
Before 1937, according to AK Interactive, Soviet aircraft were painted Protective Green above and Grey-Blue below. Both shades were the factory finish of most aircraft the Soviet Union supplied to the Republican side in the Spanish Civil War: Polikarpov I-15 Chato and I-16 Mosca / Rata fighters, Tupolev SB Katiuska bombers and Polikarpov R-5 and R-Z aircraft.
The manufacturer includes the colour in the AK11740 Soviet Aircraft Colors 1930s-1941 and AK11713 Spanish Civil War – Republican Aircraft Colors sets. It is a third-generation (3GEN) acrylic for brush and airbrush with high pigmentation and coverage as stated by AK Interactive, in an 18 ml bottle.
