AK Interactive 3GEN Aircraft Series AK11886 Medium Grey FS 36270 is an acrylic for aircraft modellers, supplied in 18 ml. FS 36270 medium grey has been part of the US Air Force and Air National Guard palette since the late 1970s.
The shade is part of the 3GEN Aircraft Series, in which AK Interactive gathers specific aircraft colours of different air forces and periods. The bottle holds 18 ml and, according to the manufacturer, the paint is suited to brush and airbrush alike.
The manufacturer has included the paint in the AK11746 US Air Force & ANG Modern Aircraft Colors set, eight shades for USAF and ANG aircraft. According to AK Interactive, the set covers schemes such as Hill Grey on the F-4 Phantom II and F-16, Compass Ghost on the A-10 and F-15, and Have Glass on the F-16 and F-35, so Medium Grey FS 36270 serves modellers of modern American combat aircraft.
